my first gift from the studio owner welcoming me. it's packed with sweets stuffed with sweet adzuki beans.
each day, students brought a dizzying selection of sweets to the yoga studio like these
or more savory seaweed & cracker-like goodies like these
or these little honeys that look like little hot dogs
but are actually soft cookies stuffed with cream & raisens

candies
and these great chocolate/cracker snacks similar to pocky
mushrooms are called kinoko. mushrooms are everywhere in japan. here's my kinoko candy purse

in harajuku you will find hundreds of people in line to eat these
japanese crepes. extreme delicious. here's the official crepe socks

chocolate mile-feuile crepe
chocolate ice cream, white chocolate, home made pie, whipped cream, chocolate sauce & bananas.
total insanity.
at the foodshow food court under shibuya train station, you can find these
selfish princess. like little custard cheesecakes in a cylander with a little spoon.
and wonderful chocolate band-aids

and in asakusa (old tokyo) i ate these twice. fresh made hot soft tempura manja buns stuffed with adzuki beans. one of a kind-can only be found at a little stall on your way to the senso-ji temple
the same recipe for hundreds of years.
but nothing compares to this last one. located outside of shibuya station, this is the king of sweets. you can smell it a block away. fresh hot vanilla custard filled cream puffs
